It should make no difference. The time it takes analog to figure out the
logfile format is insignificant with respect to the processing time. If
it is auto-detecting, then great! Less work for you.

Subject: [analog-help] Log format

Analog is saying that it identifies my log files as: NCSA Combined. I
was wondering if it would speed up processing if I told it what format
the files were with Logformat?

So I tried but cannot find the correct way to state the logformat
command.

Do I need to do this or just leave it alone.

thanks
John
