Normally I use the file Web2006.log including all logdata from october to
december 2006.
This works for some minutes.
The other test I've done with another file accesslog.log.Q107042500 that
contains the data from
one day in april and I've removed the last character in the first 3
records by hand.
I've executed this file with drag and drop to the anlog button - this
overwrites the LOGFILE
entry in the log file.
After some hours trying different LOGFORMATs I did this.
All data have the same format.
By the way I've used MergeLog to build one big file from the hundreds of
i5 files.
The big file 30 MB is on my PC. It runs complete in 3-5 minutes.
Several files reading from the i5 running more then 2 hours, we've only a
small
model 520 of the i5 family.
I'm working with the default values on our i5 apache server.
Another tool AccessLog has no problems with reading the data.
Very best regards
