Analog analyses log files - when someone clicks on a link that points to
an external site, they don't normally notify your server, so there is
nothing in your server logs to tell you that they clicked on that link.
Some websites use a redirect script for external links, so that the user
actually clicks on a link to your site, and then gets redirected to the
external site - for instance, look at the "More news from around the
Web" links on the CNet news page (http://news.com.com).
