Paul,

Thank-you for your feedback and kind words. Your comments, thoughts and ideas are welcome.

I am not much of a C++ programmer so there are limits to where I can and would be willing to go on this, but I'll try and accommodate where I can.

Let me address each issue

1. Thanks, I need to test the accuracy of the NT3.51 agents on non-ms browsers, but my VPC install of 3.51 is kicking up at the moment.

2. Disappointing, yes, I was annoyed at that but alas it isn't my fault, it's Microsoft's. I installed Win2008 specifically to test with, and as it turns out, at least with the current beta, it identifies in EXACTLY the same way as Windows Vista, therefore it is indistinguishable.
If you actually see Windows Server 2008 on its own in the OS listing, that was from the 6.0.2 build which is where I expected 2008 to appear... this is not 2008 but dodgy hacks.

3. I am not sure how practical it would be to add in this detailing, I do not believe that the processor is identified to analog. As you are a 64-bit user, if you are willing to go throughg the motions on that we can see what we can do.

4. I suppose that it is technically possible, but would defeat the purpose of the browser report being OS inexplicit. I have a similar desire to pull apart the Windows CE browser/OS set, but the benefits are likely moot to everyone aside from myself.

Chris
