[analog-help] RE: LogFormat nightmare.

Can't believe I've spent all morning banging my head against the wall on this one and then find the answer myself just when I've given up and asked for help.  I've just discovered that I've been trying to use the wrong command in the config file, should be using "DefaultLogFormat" instead of "LogFormat" when specifying the log file from the command line.

Discovered that there isn't actually anything wrong with the LogFormat commands that I'm specifying, the problem is that I'm trying to specify the LogFormat within a config file, but specify the log-file from the command line.

If the config file doesn't contain a LogFile entry, then the LogFormat entry is ignored, even though the log file is provided in the command line.

Is there any way around this ?

We have defined a custom log in our Apache config file :-

  LogFormat "%h %l %u %t \"%r\" %>s %b \"%{Referer}i\" \"%{User-Agent}i\" (%T)" combined

No matter what  I do, I cannot get analog to recognise this format, every entry is rejected, here is an example of the debug output :-

C: 218.80.221.91 - - [23/May/2007:07:17:44 +0000] "GET / HTTP/1.0" 302 214 "-" "-" (0)
C:                                                                                                                        *
C: 217.147.30.70 - - [23/May/2007:07:23:23 +0000] "GET / HTTP/1.0" 302 214 "-" "-" (0)

Here is my LogFormat definition 
  LOGFORMAT (%S %j %u [%d/%M/%Y:%h:%n:%j +%j] "%j%w%r%wHTTP%j" %c %b "%f" "%B" (%T))

I have also tried 
  APACHELOGFORMAT (%h %l %u %t \"%r\" %>s %b \"%{Referer}i\" \"%{User-Agent}i\" (%T))

And various other entries, but not matter what I do, it complains about the "(" in the final field.

Can anybody help ?
